Day 259. Invinity

To escape certain death due to an inoperable tumor, Invinity attempted to save himself by harnessing the attributes of a secret vine plant hidden deep in the amazon. The vine is biological immortal; it would never die due to sickness and its long limbs could grow indefinitely. When Invinity injected himself with the vines properties he found that his sickness had vanished. One downside however was that  his index and pinky fingers took on the same growing powers as the vines. Eventually he learned to stop them growing, but he was unable to stop them turning on him on the odd occasion! Almost every day was a constant battle but he refused to give into the evil way of the vines and stubbornly performed good deeds; even if that means he has to battle himself as well the villainy of this world!

Day 255. Laser Pointer

Laser Pointer was once a teacher who always had a passion for.... well.... lasers. Laser pointer pens to be exact. He felt that their use within the classroom were unmatched and was so obsessed with taking the lasers to the next level that he created a couple small lasers which he surgically implemented into his fingers! The problems were that the lasers were so powerful and the technology so untested that they altered his DNA and became a part of his anatomy. This wasn't too bad a situation however, at least he could now battle crime by shooting red hot lasers out of his fingers tips.
