Synopsis:
A young boy falls in with a group of skinheads who become like family. Things are looking up for the boy. That is until an older skinhead is released from prison with a racist agenda on his mind.
A very powerful film which both entertains and horrifies. Carried by an incredibly competent cast, Shane Meadows paints an intricate picture of 1980's Britain, revealing a haunting example of the "working class" dual personality, one of warmth and welcoming love and the other irrational hate. This is England has almost unmatched depth and is an explicit eye opener.
