Synopsis:
Bella reluctantly joins an all girl singing group and tries adding a little flair to their style that never quite took the group far enough in the past.
Glee: The Movie is ashamedly fun to sit through and... oh... oh wait... it's called Pitch Perfect? Apologies. Either way, Glee was pretty good and this is pretty good too. Slightly less camp, which is a plus, and boasting a sound track almost it's rival, this jump into the school choir genre (is that a thing?) provides enough laughs and entertaining medleys to keep the audience invested. At the end of the day however it falls flat (pun intended) when it comes to producing anything particularly groundbreaking.
