Synopsis:
A young girl picks up a mysterious box at a yard sale not knowing about the evil spirit that lurks inside. Her father, naturally, seeks to help to get rid of demon.
A fun take on the "demon possession" genre. Several unique set pieces should make this appear fresh to most audiences and those "scares" are enough to keep the watcher engaged. Unfortunately, apart from a brief moment in the last scene, The Possession lacks a frightening atmosphere throughout and you never feel truly immersed in the horror.
