Citadel (2012) - Ciaran Foy

Synopsis:
A young father, riddled with agoraphobia after his late wife was attacked and put into a coma by feral children, enlists the help of a renegade priest to get back his daughter who he has been left to care for alone. But these children who returned nine months later for the child are not all that they seem.

On the surface a really good idea that good have been executed a little better. Tommy (Aneurin Barnard) is an interesting protagonist in that he faces the challenges of his phobia as well as these twisted children. The children themselves make for unique antagonists but ultimately fall flat into zombie-esque type characters as the story progresses, losing the mysterious and eerie charm that they had at the beginning. Still, not bad for a first time feature length foray for director Ciaran Foy and there are plenty of scares that make this a decent addition to the horror genre.
