Memento (2000) - Christopher Nolan

Synopsis:
A man with short-term memory loss hunts for the killer of his wife having left himself clues in the form of tattoos, notes and polaroid pictures.

A incredibly interesting thriller splattered with neo-noir overtones. Although very well written it comes across slightly convoluted and messy due to the complicated subject matter. But notice I didn't say "over-complicated". It's simple enough for one to follow and remain engaged and yet leave you completely perplexed throughout which is just testament to Nolan's abilities as a writer and director. Strong performances by all and a unique movie experience. Make sure you're ready to pay attention though!
