Synopsis:
Captain Kirk leads a manhunt for a terrorist who has fled to a planet occupied by the Klingons. Upon taking him aboard they find there is far more to him than meets the eye.
A strange structure to this film hinders notice of any other notable accolades. Given the intense action and brilliant performances from the majority of the cast (trying to ignore the corniest dialogue of 2013 here) it's still worth a watch for the pure spectacle of it. Unfortunately it pales in comparison to Abrams first outing and feels like a bit of a mess. Should Star Wars fans be worried?
