Synopsis:
An Alien/Predator hybrid takes over a predator space ship which crash lands in a small town. A Predator general comes to earth looking to clean up any evidence of the mess caused by his kind. All the while the people of the town struggle to survive as the two warring beasties go at it.
Probably an underrated film on several accounts, suffering with issues of incredibly poor lighting, a presumably inexperienced cast and unimaginative dialogue. There are some EXTREMELY cool elements, however. The predator and alien designs are the greatest either franchise has seen and its good to see such a no-holds-bar attitude taken towards the action and gore (shocked at the '15' rating). Again though the lighting issues merged with shoddy, occasionally frantic, camera work takes away from the otherwise exciting set pieces and story progression.
