High fidelity (2000) - Stephen Frears

Synopsis:
Rob, a small time record store owner, recounts for the viewer his five most painful breakups, including the one hes currently going through.

A very funny and whimsically written film that will submerge the viewer in this first person story of self pity and woe. Nothing particularly interesting or groundbreaking is being done aside from a slight distortion of narrative structure but its certainly one of those films where you can sit down, relax and have a good giggle at the point of view of this man who just cant seem to get his relationships together. Jack Black is gold in this by the way... just saying.
